The office of the Public Protector South Africa, led by Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane, completed their last leg of the nationwide roadshow in Eastern Cape.
The meeting, which was chaired by the Speaker of Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature, Ms Helen Sauls-August, took place at the East London International Convention Centre and was attended by Eastern Cape Premier, Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane with some of his MECs, as well as traditional leaders recently.
The purpose of the roadshow is to touch base with the Province's Executive Authority and discuss a way-forward on several public protector reports that must be implemented, as well as follow up on reported cases by the public.
