Eastern Cape Premier Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane has recently officiated the launch of the new ISUZU D-MAX bakkie mass production line by Isuzu Motors South Africa (IMSA).
The launch took place at its Gqeberha plant in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality (NMBMM).
The new ISUZU D-MAX production line will safeguard the employment of more than 1,000 people directly and an additional 24,000 indirectly, contributing significantly to community upliftment in the province as well as making a significant contribution to employment numbers on a national level.
