Eastern Cape Premier, Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane, proudly handed over two vehicles and implements to Luvo Sitoto and Joshua Chetty, respectively recently. Both Sitoto and Chetty are beneficiaries of the Isiqalo Youth Fund, a business grant sponsored by the Eastern Cape Government to young entrepreneurs through the Office of the Premier.
Sitoto, who is owner of Thamsanqa Catering and General Services, started as a cleaning business and has since diversified into catering and transportation services. She employs twenty eight people at her company.
Chetty, on the other hand, runs Cool Tint, which is an anti-smash and grab tinting company. The company also specialises in car branding and signage, as well as flat glass tinting. He was affected badly by COVID-19 lockdown and had scaled down the number of employees. He currently employs four permanent staff members and is anticipating to grow the company, now that he has a brand new van that will make his job much easier and accessible to his clients.
