Eastern Cape Premier, Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane, together with Human Settlements MEC, Nonceba Kontsiwe, officially handed over houses to six destitute families in Gqeberha, recently. These families' plight was identified during a Presidential visit to the Motherwell and Veeplaas areas, in 2021.

Provincial Government also handed over 85 title deeds to home owners of low cost housing.
