Premier Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane, joined by Health MEC, Nomakhosazana Meth, officially unveiled the Flagstaff Healthcare Centre recently.

This is an upgrade of Flagstaff Clinic, which was previously functioning in an old Post Office dilapidated structure.

The healthcare centre is servicing a population of about 45 732 in 7 wards with 43 villages. Some of the services available at the centre will include dental care, physical rehabilitation services, X-Ray, trauma unit, mental health services, social work services, pharmaceutical services, and community based health-care services.

This is part of the Eastern Cape provincial government s investment towards the refurbishment of 67 health facilities across the province.
