Premier Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane has made two adjustments by introducing two members into his Cabinet: MEC Ntandokazi Capa for Health and MEC Sibulele Ngongo for the Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts, and Culture. Part of the new changes is the separation of the Finance Department from the Department of Economic Development, Environment Affairs, and Tourism. Additionally, the Departments of Public Works and Infrastructure have been merged with Human Settlements.
The new Executive Council members will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the Provincial Government. The Eastern Cape Government is committed to fostering a prosperous, equitable, and sustainable province.
