In a momentous occasion today, Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane was sworn in as the Premier of the Eastern Cape, reaffirming his position as the province's leading citizen. Premier Mabuyane, along with other newly sworn-in members of the Provincial Legislature (MPLs), took their oaths in a ceremony that highlighted the continuity and stability of the province's leadership.
The swearing-in ceremony was a significant event, marking a new chapter for the Eastern Cape in the 7th Administration of Government under Premier Mabuyane s leadership. The Premier expressed his gratitude for the continued trust placed in him and emphasised his commitment to driving progress and development in the province.
"I am deeply honoured to continue serving the people of the Eastern Cape. Together with my colleagues, we will work tirelessly to achieve our goals and improve the lives of our citizens," said Premier Mabuyane.
