Today Premier Oscar Lubabalo Mabuyane announced the following appointments for the Executive Council:

1) Ms Nomakhosazana Meth is appointed as the MEC for Health.

2) Ms Nonkqubela Pieters is appointed as the MEC for Agriculture and Agrarian Reform

3) Ms Nonceba Khontsiwe is appointed as the MEC for Human Settlements.

We wish the MECs all the best in their new responsibilities. We invite the people of the province from the employees of their new departments, stakeholders in the sectors they will work in, to support these MECs in discharging their constitutional responsibilities.
