A significant milestone has once again been achieved today as Premier Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane walked into the newly constructed Nkululeko Senior Secondary School at kwaNobuhle, Kariega.
With a budget of R81 million, this state-of-the-art facility sets a new standard in educational infrastructure, boasting modern amenities aimed at providing an optimal learning experience and environment for learners and teachers.
The school features a fully equipped Science Laboratory to foster hands-on scientific exploration, a well-stocked Library to promote literacy and research, and Multi-Purpose classrooms to accommodate diverse teaching methodologies. Furthermore, it has a computer lab which enables pupils to develop essential digital skills that are increasingly vital in today's interconnected world, a netball court as well as the Nutrition Centre.
Safety and security are paramount in providing a conducive learning environment. To this end, the upgraded facility incorporates high-security features including fencing, a guard house, and safe rooms, ensuring the safety of students and staff.
"The school's infrastructure development aligns with government's broader efforts to enhance educational outcomes and provide equitable access to quality education for all learners in the Eastern Cape." Premier Mabuyane said.
