Premier of the Easter Cape, Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane, Minister of Health Dr Joe Phaahla alongside MEC for Health Nomakhosazana Meth handed over the newly constructed state of the art Sipetu Hospital in Ntabankulu, Alfred Nzo District, valued at R680 million.

The facility boasts developed in-patient services, compromising of 100 bedded general wards. The building of the hospital is part of the Department of Health infrastructure development programme as the country is preparing for the implementation of the National Health Insurance (NHI) to achieve universal access to quality health care services.
