The Eastern Cape Provincial Government continues to drive youth-led economic transformation, as The Lebona Print, a dynamic youth-owned printing and branding enterprise celebrated a major milestone under the Isiqalo Youth Fund programme in KuGompo City.
Through an investment valued at over R1.3 million, The Lebona Print has been equipped with an automatic T-shirt silk screening printing machine, production materials, and 3,000 T-shirts, positioning the business for accelerated growth.
Already servicing schools, businesses, and community organisations, The Lebona Print has demonstrated strong market demand for its quality branded apparel. This support now allows the enterprise to move beyond small-scale production, improve turnaround times, and translating directly into increased revenue potential and employment opportunities.
Owner of the enterprise, Thuto Prince Lebona, highlighted the impact of the support, stating; This support will significantly boost Lebona Print s production capacity, enhance quality, and enable us to take on larger bulk orders while expanding our market reach.”
The introduction of advanced machinery significantly enhances operational efficiency and product consistency, strengthening the company s competitiveness within the printing and branding industry. Importantly, this investment is expected to catalyse sustainable, youth-led economic activity while contributing to local industrial development.
Through the Isiqalo Youth Fund, the Eastern Cape Provincial Government is building a pipeline of scalable youth enterprises that contribute meaningfully to inclusive economic growth.
