The Eastern Cape Provincial Government joined the Mercedes Benz Learning Academy in celebrating their 40th anniversary in East London. The Academy boasts a legacy of skills development in the automotive industry, which keeps the Eastern Cape on the competitive edge globally, when it comes to auto manufacturing.

The key issue that emanated from speakers during the formalities, is the need for the Academy to partner more with TVET colleges in South Africa to ensure the skills development of an employable workforce.
