President Cyril Ramaphosa, accompanied by Eastern Cape Premier,Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane and the delegation from the Nelson Mandela Foundation, officially handed over Little Flower Early Childhood Development Centre (ECDC) at Nkantolo in Mbizana.

The ECDC came about as a result of President Ramaphosa partnering with the Nelson Mandela Foundation, after identifying the Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality as one of the areas that required intervention when it comes to early childhood development.

Government understands the significance of Early Childhood Development as the fundamental building blocks in nurturing the next generation. Children are the future leaders of our communities and government will continue to invest in ECD centres across the country and formalise them to ensure that they meet the standards of early childhood development.
