Eastern Cape Government led by Premier Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane joined the Chris Hani District Municipality to support its efforts to attract investors. Speaking to the conference delegates, Premier Mabuyane committed that the provincial government s stimulus and development fund will prioritise previously disadvantaged districts and bring bankable business plans.
"In restructuring and repurposing the post-COVID 19 economic landscape government should should not leave any citizen behind" premier said.
"We congratulate the district municipality for securing millions of rands in investment pledges on the opening day of the two-day investment summit, including one in the renewable energy sector" premier added.
