Purpose

Programme 1 serves as the engine and backbone of the department.

Functions

• Provides the core administrative and support functions of the Office of the Premier.
• Ensures effective leadership, governance and compliance through the Premier’s Private Office, the Office of the Director-General, Internal Audit, Risk and Integrity Management
• In addition, it delivers essential corporate services, including Human Resources; Facilities, Security, Records and Corporate Communication; Departmental Information Technology and Financial Management, to enable the department to function efficiently and achieve its mandate.
